The C-ROC Gozanti-class cruiser was a shipyard custom configuration for the Gozanti-class cruiser, manufactured by the Corellian Engineering Corporation. Many modifications, both cosmetic and mechanical, separated the C-ROC from its predecessor. Most noticeable was the hull - unlike the slab-sided original, the C-ROC made use of an armored sloping hull that provided additional protection by deflecting incoming blasts and ordnance more efficiently than its predecessor. Additionally, while the ship's armor and heavy shielding remained largely unchanged from the original design, the notoriously slow Girodyne Ter58 ion turbine engines were replaced with five newer and more efficient Novaldex JV-80 ion drives, giving the craft a considerable boost in speed. As a result, many owners - such as the infamous Cikatro Vizago with his four-engined Broken Horn - routinely relied on the C-ROC's speed rather than its firepower to escape danger. Read more...
